Concept engineered by Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi

Child-Friendly Village is an internationally acclaimed social concept engineered by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi. In a Child-Friendly Village, it is ensured that there is no violation of child rights whatsoever and all children are in the school and learning. Therefore in a child-friendly village, there is no child labour, child marriages, child trafficking, or any form of child exploitation for that matter. Additionally, it is ensured that all adults in the village are enjoying decent working conditions so that they can take good care of their families, particularly the children. In a child-friendly village, all children are sensitized about their rights and responsibilities so that they could confidently and unfalteringly stand up against any injustice meted out to them, their peers, or community members.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

As good practice and upholding the tenets of UN Sustainable Development Goal 17 which is all about partnerships for making this world a better place for all, Viviid Emissions Reductions Universal Private Limited in collaboration with SAMATHA – Society for Rural Education and Development is committed to transforming Chintalayapalle into a Child-Friendly Village.
