Soon after the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale formally rolled out Chetak Foundation’s Swasthya (Health & Fitness) Scheme to felicitate over 10000 underprivileged drivers and Covid front line workers and provide them with high-quality Sanitization kits, Chetak Foundation (the social arm of Chetak Group, the leader in Automotive Logistics in India) has tied up with India’s leading company Indian Oil Corporate Limited to honour their frontline workers and drivers and provide them with the sanitization kits, which will prepare them to avert the Third Wave of Covid.

While speaking on the occasion, Minister Ramdas Athawale had said, “It is heartening to see Chetak Foundation join hands with Indian Oil Corporation and Delhi Metro to come forward and support the government’s efforts by acknowledging the Covid frontline workers and drivers who worked tirelessly during the crisis, helping the public at large remain mobile, while risking their own lives. We need many more corporates and foundations to join hands in such noble initiatives”

Sachin Haritash, Board member, Chetak Foundation said, “Chetak Foundation has been set up to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged communities, in line with the vision of our founder late Shri J K Sharma ji. We would like to convey our gratitude to Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman, IOCL and his entire team.” Chetak Foundation focuses on broad areas including Education, Environment, Health, Livelihood, Nutrition and Road Safety, in the logistics space and public at large in the related domains.
