Balconagar: Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO), India’s iconic aluminium producer, bagged first prize for Best Pavilion at Rajyotsava – 2022 festival, organized by the Government of Chhattisgarh in commemoration of the state’s 22nd Foundation Day. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, graced the occasion as chief guest, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri. Bhupesh Baghel, chaired the program.
BALCO officials Ms. Mansi Chauhan, Head PR & Communication, and Ashish Sharma, Head – Corporate Affairs received the award on behalf of the company.
Abhijit Pati, CEO and Director, BALCO expressed his pleasure at winning the award and said, “The Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava provided us a prestigious platform to share our vision for the development of the people and the state of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister, key dignitaries of the state, administrative authorities, and many citizens visited BALCO’s pavilion during the event. The visitors got a glimpse of various dimensions of BALCO’s organizational excellence, from manufacturing prowess to community development projects, such as the Nandghar project, BALCO Medical Center, Vedanta Skill Schools, etc.
