AU Small Finance Bank India’s largest small finance bank as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) inaugurated the Solar Power Grid at Akshay Patra Foundation, Jaipur campus.
The initiative is aimed at providing sustainable electricity through the use of renewable energy besides savings on energy costs in a long term.
The bank has supported Rs 50. lacs for the installation of a 170KW solar power grid at the rooftop of the main building of the Akshay Patra Kitchen facility at Jaipur. The installation of renewable energy sources will cut down the electricity cost to a significant extent. . It is also a key step towards providing clean energy and protecting the environment at large.
The funds saved from the electricity bills will be re-routed towards supporting the foundations’ noble cause of providing a wholesome meal to the students of the foundation. The newly installed solar power grid will help the foundation an independent energy generator within two years of its installation.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Yogesh Jain, Chief of Staff, AU Bank along with Anantsesa Das from the Akshay Patra Foundation.
