MUMBAI: The Supreme Industries Limited, an Indian company, has reported its CSR spending for the financial year 2021-2022. The CSR Committee met on April 28th, 2022 to review the activities undertaken by the company during the fiscal year and to approve the plan for the upcoming year.
During the year under review, the company spent a sum of INR 15.77 Crore on its CSR initiatives. These included donations to registered trusts, as well as direct spending on education for schools and colleges, basic living facilities and healthcare, natural disaster relief, cleanliness, self-employment initiatives, cultural activities, and providing company goods at special prices to philanthropic NGOs and trusts.
These trusts and NGOs are working to provide education, vocational training, medical and healthcare facilities, basic needs, and amenities to underprivileged individuals at a low cost. They also provide grants for medical help and education.

Supreme Foundation
The company conducts its social development programs primarily through the Supreme Foundation. The foundation focuses on providing quality education, uplifting underprivileged communities, promoting water, sanitation, health and hygiene, and preserving and protecting the environment through tree plantation and other initiatives.
Supreme Foundation is playing an important and constructive role in balancing the socio-economic structure of the Rajasthan region by providing human and physical resources to improve the quality of education at government schools. The foundation has also continued to work to improve the education level in government schools and colleges in Rajasthan, as well as in various schools in Ladnu Tahsil of Nagore District.
In the upcoming year, Supreme Foundation plans to continue its focus on improving education and providing basic living and healthcare facilities. It also plans to spend INR 1900 Lakhs on various existing and proposed activities for the year 2022-2023, including infrastructure improvement at schools, construction of village roads, and public convenience facilities.
Corporate Social Responsibility Committee
The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee is responsible for overseeing the company’s CSR activities, and is composed of several directors. The company prioritizes social responsibility and has a formalized process for allocating a portion of its profits each year to support projects that fulfill a social obligation. The company’s CSR initiatives are primarily implemented through the Supreme Foundation, a charitable institution, with key areas of focus including quality education, uplifting underprivileged communities, and promoting water, sanitation, health and hygiene, and preservation and protection of environment.
