MITHAPUR (India CSR): Tata Chemicals Limited successfully hosted the 24th R. Prabhakar Memorial Open Saurashtra Half Marathon in Mithapur. This annual event honors the legacy of the late R. Prabhakar and reinforces Tata Chemicals’ commitment to promoting health, fitness, and community well-being. The marathon attracted participants from across the region, uniting people of all ages and backgrounds in a celebration of resilience and camaraderie.

Event Highlights and Race Categories

The marathon kicked off at 6:00 AM and featured three race categories designed to cater to diverse fitness levels:

  1. Half Marathon (21 km)
  2. 10 km Run
  3. 5 km Fun Race

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with 439 participants, including 228 runners from the local community. The enthusiastic participation underscored the collective commitment to health and community spirit.
