PATNA (India CSR): Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) proudly announces the remarkable achievement of 100% placement for its 16th PGDM Batch (2023–25), reinforcing its legacy of academic excellence and career readiness. In a year marked by global economic uncertainty and a cautious hiring outlook across premier business schools in India, CIMP’s consistent performance underscores the institute’s robust industry engagement, student preparedness, and curriculum relevance.

The Placement Season for 2025 witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 50 reputed companies, the highest so far, with 35+ firms extending offers and 20+ new companies joining the list as first time recruiters. The highest CTC offered stood at Rs 16.42 LPA, while the average CTC has been Rs 6.68 LPA and the median CTC at Rs 6.50 LPA, showcasing strong salary trends across sectors.

The top 25% of the batch secured an impressive average of Rs 9.08 LPA, followed by Rs 8.31 LPA for the top 50%, and Rs 7.50 LPA for the top 75%.

The gender diversity in the batch — 81 male and 35 female students — along with diverse educational backgrounds spanning management, commerce, engineering, science, arts, and others, brought a rich variety of perspectives to the cohort.

Reflecting on this landmark, Prof. Dr. Rana Singh, Director, CIMP, said:

“This success of achieving 100 % Placement consecutively for the 16th PGDM Batch is not just about numbers; it is about impact. In a year when even top-tier institutions have faced placement challenges, our students have not only secured offers but have done so with diversity, and direction. This success reflects the dedication and hard work of our students, the support of our faculty and staff, and the trust our recruiters place in the CIMP brand and the strong foundation we have built over the years.”

Addressing the media, Prof. Vibhash Kumar, Placement Chairperson, stated:

“One of the most remarkable aspects of this year’s placement season was the multiple time hiring  and trust shown by top recruiters, reaffirming their confidence in the quality of our talent pool. Such repeated engagement not only reflects the strong industry-academia trust we’ve cultivated but also reinforces CIMP’s position as a preferred talent destination.”

Talking about the new additions to the placement recruiters list, Prof. Vibhash said, “We were delighted to welcome a host of new recruiters to the CIMP campus this year, further diversifying the industry footprint of our placement landscape. Organizations such as ICA-Pidilite, and Adani Wilmar Ltd. (AWL Agri Business), Rajasthan Grameen Ajeevika Vikas Parishad (RGAVP), BIADA, BIRLA OPUS, Nuvoco Cements, Grand Thornton Bharat, Vaimanika Aerospace, FABO, LabKafe, Swiggy, UNLOX Academy, Future Generali Life, Nature Polyplast Ltd.,  collaborated with  us for the first time, offering a wide range of opportunities across domains. Their presence and successful hiring are a testament to CIMP’s growing industry relevance and the quality of our students. We look forward to nurturing these new associations into long-term partnerships.”

“To boost our placement rates further, we intend to broaden our recruitment network,  enhancing partnerships with diverse companies and introducing new electives as per job market requirements will play a crucial role in enhancing student outcomes and opportunities. I would like to thank our recruiters, alumni, faculty, and staff who have contributed to this success—and most importantly, congratulate our students for their remarkable achievements.”

During the press conference, Sri Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer of CIMP, expressed his delight on achieving 100% placement yet again. He said,“We are especially proud to have maintained this legacy of excellence for all the pass out Batches. Despite challenging market headwinds and shifting recruitment dynamics across top-tier B-schools, our commitment to preparing future-ready leaders has remained unwavering. We are proud of our students who have consistently demonstrated professionalism and perseverance.” He also used this opportunity to announce the next milestone in enhancing international exposure for CIMP students — the advancement of CIMP’s collaboration with Georgia Tech University through the establishment of a joint study centre at the CIMP Patna campus.

CIMP continues to uphold its vision of nurturing ethical, socially responsible, and industry-ready professionals while contributing to nation-building and regional development. With its evolving industry partnerships, global academic collaborations, and an ever-relevant pedagogy, CIMP remains committed to shaping future business leaders of India.
