CIMP Celebrates 100% Placement for Its 17th PGDM Batch, Continuing Its Legacy of Excellence

PATNA: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and industry relevance by successfully achieving 100% placement for the PGDM Batch 2024–26. The institute concluded another successful placement season, reflecting the continued confidence of recruiters in the quality of CIMP graduates and the institute’s strong industry engagement.

A total of 120 students opted in for the final placement process and secured placements across diverse sectors and functional domains. The placement season witnessed the participation of 51 organisations/companies, with 41 recruiters extending final offers to students. The institute also welcomed 29 new recruiting organisations, significantly expanding its industry footprint and creating a wider spectrum of career opportunities for the graduating batch.

ICICI Bank emerged as the highest recruiter followed by Reliance Consumer Products, Indigo Paints,and Jal Jeevan Hariyali Mission. The institute also witnessed participation from leading recruiters such as Tata Advanced Systems, Grant Thornton Bharat, Havells India,Colgate Palmolive, Asian Paints, HDFC, ITC, AMUL with 29 new recruiters joining the placement drive.

The placement outcomes demonstrate encouraging salary trends despite a dynamic recruitment landscape. The highest annual compensation package offered was Rs 11.00 LPA, while the average CTC stood at Rs 6.81 LPA and the median CTC at Rs 6.45 LPA, reflecting consistent opportunities across sectors and roles.

Recruitment was spread across a broad range of industries, including Banking & Financial Services, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Automotive, Paints & Building Materials, Insurance, Infrastructure, Government & Public Sector, Rural Development, Consulting, Media & Digital, Logistics & Supply Chain, and Technology-enabled businesses.

Students secured opportunities across a wide variety of management functions such as Sales & Marketing, Retail and Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Analytics, Consulting, Relationship Management, Project Management, Human Resources, and Management Trainee programmes, highlighting the versatility and industry readiness of CIMP graduates.

The placement season also reflected CIMP’s continued focus on strengthening industry-academia collaboration. The addition of 29 new recruiters across emerging and established sectors is a testament to the institute’s growing reputation as a preferred destination for management talent.

The success of the placement season was driven by a series of structured placement preparedness initiatives undertaken by the Training & Placement Cell. Students underwent intensive aptitude training, resume-building workshops, mock interviews, group discussions, leadership talks by senior industry professionals, corporate mentoring sessions, and continuous career guidance to enhance their employability and readiness for the corporate world.

Expressing his satisfaction over the achievement, Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director, CIMP, stated:

“Achieving 100% placement for yet another graduating batch reflects the collective commitment of our students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners. Beyond the numbers, this accomplishment signifies the trust that organisations continue to place in CIMP graduates. We remain committed to nurturing ethical, competent, and industry-ready managers capable of creating meaningful impact in their organisations and society.”

Speaking on the successful conclusion of the placement season, Prof. Vibhash Kumar, Placement Chairperson, said:

“The Placement Season 2026 has been particularly encouraging with the participation of 51 organisations and the addition of 29 new recruiters. The diversity of opportunities across sectors and roles demonstrates the confidence that industry continues to repose in CIMP. Our sustained focus on placement preparedness, industry engagement, and skill development has enabled our students to compete successfully in an increasingly competitive job market. We sincerely thank all our recruiting partners for their continued trust and look forward to strengthening these relationships in the years ahead.”
