NEW DELHI (India CSR): Biocon Limited and its subsidiaries, Biocon Biologics and Syngene International, have demonstrated remarkable dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by investing Rs. 31.54 crore in FY 2023-24. Guided by robust CSR and ESG frameworks, the group focused on critical areas such as healthcare, education, rural development, environmental sustainability, and women empowerment, directly impacting over 3.75 lakh beneficiaries.

The CSR efforts of the group were spearheaded by distinct committees—Biocon and Biocon Biologics maintain independent CSR and ESG Committees, while Syngene’s Stakeholder Relationships and ESG Committee oversees its initiatives. Leadership from experts like Naina Lal Kidwai, Independent Director and Chairperson of CSR & ESG Committees, has further strengthened Biocon’s commitment to impactful CSR initiatives, company’s annual report revealed.
