These projects demonstrate the company’s commitment to community well-being through sustainable development. Below are five key indicators that highlight the effectiveness and reach of Bharat Forge’s rural initiatives.

Bharat Forge has implemented various water harvesting projects, resulting in improved water availability for agriculture and household use in several villages. Key initiatives include the construction of Bandharas and desilting of water bodies in villages such as Chilewadi, Amondi, and Wagholi, where water storage capacities have increased significantly.

  • Impact: For instance, the project at Wagholi benefited over 6,900 people, adding 75 TCM of water storage capacity. In Visapur, over 4,600 people gained from improved water availability due to the construction of Bandharas.

3. Health: Bringing Quality Healthcare to Rural Areas

Bharat Forge’s healthcare initiatives focus on early detection, particularly through cancer screening camps and telemedicine centers across eight villages. These telemedicine centers provide access to quality healthcare services, including consultations, diagnostics, and follow-up care, ensuring residents in remote areas receive essential medical attention.

  • Impact: For instance, the introduction of telemedicine centres has made healthcare more accessible for over eight villages, significantly reducing the need for long-distance travel to seek medical services.
