KORBA (Chhattisgarh): BALCO team has own the FIRST PRIZE in the QIMPRO Six Sigma Competition held on 26-09-2011. The project” Pitch Optimization” was chosen for presentation in the Six Sigma Conclave and was awarded as First prize in Manufacturing processes.
The event focuses on team excellence in process improvement or innovation that has delivered significant and sustainable results.A detailed project report was submitted and Eventually 82 projects were qualified for assessment from all over India out of which BALCO was one.
The final presentation was made in front of panel of judges on 26 Sept 2011 by the team members showcasing the implementing structured methodology’s thereby achieving quality improvement and financial savings, satisfied customers and environmental benefits.
