NEW DELHI: Axis Bank hosted ‘JobX’ – a job fair, to provide employment opportunities for the retired personnel and children of Delhi Police. The job fair, organized at New Police Line Grounds, Model town, was inaugurated by Suchana Patnaik, President – Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS), Delhi.
More than 2,000 candidates, comprising freshers and retired personnel were provided with registration forms by Delhi Police officials. These forms were uploaded on an online portal that could be accessed by the hiring companies.
These candidates were then shortlisted and interviewed at the event. Over 100 companies across sectors like, BFSI, Manufacturing, IT& Security actively participated in the event to offer jobs to the applicants.
Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police Delhi said, “We are delighted to be a part of this initiative that has created a pool of job opportunities for the children of serving and retired Delhi Police Personnel. It is overwhelming to see such huge participation and the enthusiasm of the candidates. I would like to congratulate all the selected candidates and wish them a very bright future.”
