New Delhi: Asian Paints Limited (APL) has spent Rs. 52.70 crores on corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in the financial year 2018-19, reflecting in the Annual Report of 2018-19.
Asian Paints has spent Rs. 46.51 crores for 2017-18 on corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
The CSR initiatives of the Company were under the thrust areas of health & hygiene, education, water management and enhancement of vocational training.
The Company’s CSR Policy statement and annual report on the CSR activities undertaken during the financial year ended 31st March 2019, in accordance with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014.
The company has spent Rs. 9.35 crores on education, Rs. 25.09 crores on skill development, Rs. 9.93 crores on healthcare and hygiene and Rs. 8.33 crores on water management.
