Apeejay School of Management (ASM) organized a seminar on “Performance of Social Responsibility: Importance to Organizations and Alternate Career Choice” recently in the Apeejay campus.
The focus of the seminar was to acquaint the students with various aspects involved in CSR and the kind of opportunities available in the corporate industry.
Ms. Shaifali Sharma, Head Public Relations and Communications, Caritas India, was the guest for the event. Dr Alok Saklani, Director, Apeejay School of Management, welcomed the guest.
Ms. Shaifali Sharma discussed at length the career opportunities in the areas of both social work and corporate social responsibility citing examples of renowned organizations and their CSR practices. She enlightened the students on the increased engagement of employers as well as employees towards the same. Her persona and poise complemented her intelligence to make the seminar an event to remember.
