BHOPAL: Dainik Bhaskar Samarpan is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Dainik Bhaskar Group which is one of the largest newspaper group in India having a presence in 4 Languages 13 States 64 Editions.
“Anndaan” a CSR event that was organized as an integral part of JOY OF GIVING WEEK 2011 was carried out at various locations across India from 2nd Oct to 8th October 2011 wherein the people were requested to donate rice,wheat, grains, pulses as per their desire. It is very unique event in the area of CSR., Aman Bhardwaj, a CSR team member of Dainik Bhaskar informed INDIACSR.
“Special collection centers and mobile vans were setup during the event across India in multi states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and we are really happy with the over whelming support & contribution that we received from the common people in the form of a collection of 92000 kgs. of rice, wheat, grains, pulses.”, he added.
The collection was later on distributed by the respective centers to various Orphanages, Old-age homes, care centers for disabled individuals, etc. in their localities justifying “Samaj se liya aur Samaj ko diya”

Dainik Bhaskar Samarpan is an initiative that Dainik Bhaskar Group has undertaken to do something for the society where it operates.
