Sharma added, “We can compromise steel production for a while to supply oxygen to the government to save precious lives. Our priority is people first.”

Earlier, Naveen Jindal’s brother Sajjan Jindal had made a similar pledge as he wrote, “COVID-19 has started spreading again and we need Oxygen for saving lives. OXYGEN is a raw material in Steel plants and at this crucial time, we have committed to the government to prioritize saving lives over steel making.”

The new wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc across the country with India recording more than two lakh daily cases. Raigarh to Raipur.

Even before the new supply, Raigarh Medical College was getting regular stock of oxygen since the first wave. Chairman Naveen Jindal said that the company was standing in solidarity with nation. The group always have motto of people first and their first priority right now is to maintain oxygen supply to citizens.

JSPL COO-Chhattisgarh Dinesh Kumar Sarawgi said substantial arrangements have been made to prevent coronavirus spread in plants according to guidelines Government.
