Discussion on Khadi, farming and entrepreneurship held in Charkha Dialogue

The Charkha Samvad was organized by India CSR and Bhor Trust under the leadership of Anuranjan Jha and Rosen Kumar in New Delhi.

New Delhi – Charkha Dialogue was organised at India Habitat Center, New Delhi. The purpose of the event was to discuss f India’s all around development on lines of Gandhian ideas.

Goa Governor, Mridula Sinha, the chief guest of the program, while addressing the inaugural session of the Charkha Samvad, said that Gandhiji is a symbol of our Indian culture. Gandhiji’s actions and thoughts nurture the truth. It is impossible to imagine modern India without Gandhiji.

She said that only by making Indian economy centered on Gandhi’s ideas, villages and people can be made self-reliant. Highlighting the importance of charkha dialogue, it is said that by saying charkha, the picture of Gandhiji emerges. Gandhi and charkha cannot be separated. Charkha is a symbol of life.

The Charkha Samvad was organized by India CSR and Bhor Trust under the leadership of Anuranjan Jha and Rosen Kumar in New Delhi. This special event was organized in collaboration with Dainik Jagran and Lupine Foundation.

Gandhi’s ideas on rural development is best

Union Minister of Small and Micro Enterprises Development Pratap Chandra Sarangi said that the development works are being given pace according to Gandhiji’s ideas under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Swachhta Abhiyan has become a mass campaign inspired by Gandhiji’s ideas. We do not yet have better ideas for the welfare of the people of our villages than Gandh’s. Charkha dialogue is very relevant.

Communication for Development

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP’s National Vice President Prabhat Jha said that establishing communication is the basic need for development. For development, we have to strengthen the dialogue. He said that the need of the hour is to convey Gandhiji’s ideas to the villages.

Charkha project employs rural communities

Senior journalist Anuranjan Jha elaborated on the underlying objectives of the Charkha Samvad and said that by developing Khadi, Khad, Kisani, entrepreneurship at the village level, we can create massive employment opportunities in the villages itself.

Apresh Mishra, Editor, India CSR network, announced the Charkha Project under which an effort will be made to create self-employment opportunities in villages by creating the Charkha clusters. The goal of establishing the world’s largest spinning wheel and the largest library on Gandhi has been set. Charkha dialogue will be meaningful by creating self-employment.

Rusen Kumar welcomed all the guests – Goa Governor Mridula Sinha, Ministers Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Prabhat Jha with a symbolic charkha. Charkha souvenirs have been created by the inmates and entrepreneurs of the jail. Jagaran initiative chairman Sarvamitra Sharma, Lupine Foundation chief Sita Ram Gupta, Irma director Prof. More than 20 leading entrepreneurs and scholars, social activists including Hitesh Bhatt, entrepreneur and philanthropist Sunil Ramdas Aggarwal (Chhattisgarh) expressed their views.

In this national seminar, political thinkers, highly influential personalities, Gandhian thinkers, leading industrialists, scholarly subject matter experts and policy makers expressed their innovations, ideas and thinking to bring prosperity to Bapu’s life, rural development, agriculture, rural economy and village industry.
