To revive the livelihood of 300 Nolias cum Lifeguard aftermath of Cyclone Fani which has affected Coastal Odisha on 3rd May 2019, Adani Foundation, in collaboration with IG Reserve Police Central and Eco Tourism, Odisha has supported 1200 chairs.
Appreciating the support of Adani Foundation, the representing the State Police, SP, Puri Umashankar Das (IPS) and President Lifeguard Association has mentioned that the support will not only play a great role in bringing back the livelihood of the Lifeguard community but also the lifestyle of their family.
It is to be noted here that, in recent past Adani Foundation has extended its support to 1000 families of 6 villages of Dharanikudi GP of Bramhagiri Block of Puri with 1000 Solar Lantern.
This is apart from the 25 crore support which was extended to the Chief Minister Relief Fund handed over to the Chief Minister of Odisha by Karan Adani the CEO of Adani Port and Special Economic Zone. Adani Foundation is also has handed over 1000 mosquito net to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha to meet the emergency requirement of the Fani affected population of Odisha.
