ANGUL: Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) celebrated the Fourth International Day of Yoga with a special Yoga Camp. Employees of JSPL with their family members and school children participated in the yoga session organised under the guidance of Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu Saraswati at Jindal Nagar.
Damodar Mittal, EVP & Head Iron Making graced the occasion as Chief-Guest and advised one and all to adopt Yoga as a part of their life to be fit and fine.
Addressing the gathering Brigadier K. K. Chopra, Advisor- Security & Head-Admin, elaborated his experience and benefits of yoga for a healthy life and distributed trophies to regular practitioners.
Swami Satyabindu Saraswati, appreciated the efforts of JSPL’s Chairman Naveen Jindal for promoting yoga in his industrial work culture and advised every employee to attend Yoga class for a stress free and healthy life.
It is noteworthy that Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu Saraswati ji, supported by the JSPL Foundation is propagating the benefits of yoga and imparting training on yogic practice in JSPL’s periphery schools and villages through various yoga camps.
Students and staff members of O.P. Jindal School and DAV Savitri Jindal High School at Badamahitala R&R colony of JSPL also observed the day with Yoga sessions held under the guidance of Dr. Rishi Kumar Awasthi, Physical Education Instructor and Mr. Siba Prasad Pani, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Angul, respectively.
