Laura Asiala is Director of Corporate Citizenship, Dow Corning, a globar leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation.
Laura Asiala joined Dow Corning in 1984. Throughout her career at Dow Corning she has held positions in finance, marketing, human resources, and corporate communications. Laura was named Corporate Communications Director in 2009.
In 2011, Laura was named Corporate Citizenship Director as part of Public Affairs.
She has been facilitating development and overseeing execution of global strategies and programs to foster Dow Corning’s performance and reputation as a good corporate citizen. She has been leading and driving Dow Corning Citizen Service Corps in emerging geographies.
Laura also serves as the founding chairperson and president for the Bay County chapter of Habitat for Humanity, as well as a parent volunteer/leader in a number of educational associations as her two daughters have progressed through the Bay City public school system.
In 2008, she received the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Athena Award. She is also the vice-chair of Bay Musical Arts, Inc., parent organization of the Bijou Orchestra.
