Bacheli (Chhattisarh) : NMDC Limited under its CSR activities has focused promoting education in Bastar division by establishing NMC ITC Bhansi, NMDC Polytechnic-Geedam, NMDC Residential School Nagarnar on their own and striving for the best in the tribal region.
To focus on tribal development NMDC has started new scheme NMDC Balika Shiksha Yojna for empowerment of girls students by encouraging them in sponsoring in professional course.
As a part of the program, NMDC in association with Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad has decided for selection 25 girls students for GNM program which will be sponsored by NMDC.
The review of NMDC Balika Shiksha Yojna done by a A. Ramesh, Senior Manager (Personnel) Project CSR Department by introducing the selected students and requested dignitaries to address the occasion.
DV Raju, AGM (Personnel), RS Sodhi, JGM (E/S), RN Patnaik, JGM (Finance) addressed about the benefits extended by NMDC and the problem employment opportunities on completion of the course and also other CSR activities being undertaken by NMDC, BIOM Bacheli Complex.
Narayani Singh, President Tejswini Mahila Samithi, Bacheli has given an inspiring message to the female students with regard to the empowerment, role of women in pursuing their career, home as well as job and said that no student should discontinue the course in full terms as per guidelines of Apollo Shcoll of Nursing and come out with flying the colours.
Chairman C Sriamalu in his addres to the students has encouraged to avail the opportunities to build their career and blessed the students for achieving best.
Dinesh Sahu, Project CSR Department proposed vote of thanks. The students have departed to take admission.
