ANGUL: The competition within the departments to win the Safety Trophy is at its peak at Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL), and this time the Mines CHP department received the Safety Trophy from the Executive Director (i/c) and Location Head of the Angul unit Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, at a function held inside the campus.
Addressing at the function Dinesh Kumar Saraogi said, “Safety is a prime focus area of JSPL. This exercise helps in continuous improvement of safety practice in our plant. I am thankful to all the departments for their active participation”.
For the month of August, the Safety Competition was held on the theme of ‘Lifting Tools & Tackles, Cranes & Hoists” and Deepak Mohanty, HoD Mines CHP and his team received the trophy for their outstanding safety alertness and practices.
Fire and Safety Head of JSPL, Kaushalendra Singh and his team conducts such kind of safety exercises in regular interval and encourages every stakeholders to adopt proper safety practices in their day to day life.
