MUMBAI: In a bid to bring a cheer to the lives and help underprivileged children in realizing their dreams and ambitions, Naaptol, India’s leading home shopping company, partners with Robin Hood Army. The company aims to bring a ray of hope to those children, who are otherwise deprived of the resources required to make their dreams a reality.
Under the unique initiative, Sapno Ki Udaan, Naaptol will focus on donating a part of their earnings to assist the underprivileged children by sponsoring their education, which will help them build a career.
Speaking on the launch, Manu Agarwal, Founder & CEO of Naaptol, commented, “A child paints, another sings, another child emphatically exclaims “Mai badi hoke teacher banungi” or “Mai bada hoke doctor banunga” when asked what they want to become when they grow up. There is nothing remarkable about it, unless you are at Girija Orphanage, Kharghar. Little do the kids realize that their dreams and hopes are bigger than the resources they have in possession. This is where we want to help – assist them in pursuing their dreams without letting them be burdened with financial and social constraints.”
An elated Vasant Kunjar, who runs Girija Orphanage, reiterated, “I thank Naaptol for stepping in to help shape the future of these 50 children residing with us. Had it not been for their financial help and the much needed inspiration, many dreams would never have turned into reality, this is a step towards that.”
