NEW DELHI: Celebrating the indomitable spirit of a woman and empowering her to lead life on her own terms, 40 women volunteers and the leadership team of Lowe’s India in association with Habitat for Humanity painted houses for the underprivileged women and gifted them the same today.
This initiative took place in Hennur Road, Bangalore which is a part of the CSR initiative at Lowe’s India called Agrata: The Woman’s Build which is driven in association with the company’s long-standing partner Habitat for Humanity, where the employees volunteer to build houses for the underprivileged women, which they can proudly call their homes.
This is a one of a kind, woman only drive where the women volunteers work right from laying the foundation, to clearing the rubble and painting the houses… and this is just the beginning.
