SINGAULI (Madhya Pradesh): To boost the morale of school going girl students and to promote girl child education of class 11th we have organized a program to distribute Mahan Joyti Scholarships at Gov. higher secondary school Bargawan which is the biggest facility for school education in the vicinity catering around 1700 students.
In this program certificate and cheque of Rs. 1000 were given to 100 girls students those who have passed class 10th in academic year 2015-16 in presence of Ratan Somani, Unit Head, Mahan Aluminum, Jasbir Singh, Head HR, Mahan Aluminium, Janpath Panchyat Udadhaksh – Rajeev Singh Chandel and Jila Panchyat Sadsya, Smt Rani Aggarwal.
Objective of the program is to encourage the students towards studies. Our objective is also to make Govt. higher secondary school Bargawan as Model School that’s why we are supporting them with infrastructure and materials required.
Mahan Aluminum has constructed additional classrooms and toilets so that more and more students could be accommodated in the same. Further computers are also being provided to promote computer literacy among the students.
In the said event the presence of Hindalco Mahan’s senior management motivated the students and opinion leaders were highly gratified.
Somani delivering the key note said that, Mahan CSR main objective is to reduce droupout and promote girl child education and shall go to upto any extent for the noble cause. He promised the continued focus in the future too.
