Along with Jayanta Sinha, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Finolex Industries, other guests present for the event were Indranil Sen – Information and Culture minister Govt. of West Bengal, Susanta Ghosh – Councilor, Tollywood Actors like Soham, Abir Chhatarjee, Shyamal Banerjee – Councilor & Famous Football player, Bijon Mukherjee – Councilor, Tele Actress Amrita Chaattopadhyay. The company will also be distributing these clothes and giveaways to the children today at Salt Lake CF Block Residents Association (06th October 2016).
For almost all of us, new clothes are a must in Durga Puja. During this season of joy, positivity and happiness; while there are many who have the privilege of enjoying these small pleasures, there are a bunch of people around us who cannot even afford the bare minimum. This is a small step by the company to include the slum kids around these pandal committees so that even they can celebrate this festival of happiness alongside other citizens.
“Finolex Industries Ltd is actively involved in the fields of education, healthcare, community development, environment and self-development through their various wings. As a company we have always believed that our role goes beyond making profits.” said Nitin Kulkarni, President Sales & Marketing, Finolex Industries.
He further added, “Festivals have always brought joy, positive vibes and enthusiasm amongst every Indian, may it be any festival, but not everyone is always fortunate to enjoy and celebrate the festivals around. Giving away clothes to the underprivileged kids and bringing smile on their faces during Durga Puja is our way of sharing our joy. I am thankful to all the puja committees who have helped us in making this event a success.”
