Sheetal Mehta, is the Executive Director, K. C. Mahindra Education Trust since 2001. She is also Chief – CSR Initiatives, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and as a member of the CSR Council, is responsible for following the CSR Ethos developed by the management and developing a strategy in line with this which ties in with employees engagement opportunities.
Sheetal has been a member of the CII National Committee on Primary Education and Literacy and the CSR Committee of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Her other current positions include Managing Trustee of Mahindra Foundation India, President Mahindra Foundation USA and Trustee & President, Mahindra Education Society which looks after 2 schools.
Prior to assuming her current role she was handling marketing functions at the Mahindra Group. She has graduated in Psychology, Sociology & Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and has attended a number of executive development courses and marketing management courses at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta and National University of Singapore, Singapore including a course on Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management at Harvard Business School.
