THANE: Project Yashasvi the Scholarship program was organised by EMCO Foundation at Thane on 13 July 2016 with an objective to give financial support to meritorious and needy scholar students to continue their education with emphasis on girl children.
The program began with welcome address by S. Ramaswamy, Managing Trustee of EMCO Foundation and this program was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Rekha Vijayakar, presently Director at Adapt – NGO, a school for spastic children and Ex-Principal of ‘Guru Nanak High School’.
Chief Guest motivated students to understand “individuals skills and choose their career accordingly, respect elders and learn to accept our faults to learn effectively”.
“We are happy to inform that this year too we gave scholarships to 85 students of Thane Municipal Corporation schools and students of Jalgaon Municipal Corporation Schools as well as Maharana Pratap School to help them fulfill their dreams.”, EMCO Foundation said.
“TMC, JMC and MP Schools HMS, Teachers, Parents and Past scholarship students were present. EMCO Foundation supported 593 students and we have more than 100 students who have completed studies with EF Scholarship support.”, EMCO Foundation said.
