PUNE: Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a global fluid management company, has been honoured by World CSR Congress 2014 award under the category “India’s Most Ethical Company in the Industrial Manufacturing”.
The World CSR Congress felicitated the participating organization awards to recognize their efforts towards making a difference to the society and community at large. The award was received by Subhash Pathare and Vikrant Parbat, Corporate Human Resource Management & Communications, at a recently held ceremony in Mumbai.
On the occasion, Ravi Sinha, Vice President & Head– Corporate Human Resource Management & Communications, KBL said, “It’s an honour for us to get the recognition at a national level for our ethical practices. World CSR Congress has successfully created a platform to raise awareness towards the importance of CSR in our society. Simultaneous to creating a strong business, we at KBL have always stood by our commitment towards social, economic and environmental initiatives that contribute to the betterment of society. These are not independent activities, but are instead integrated with our core business in order to make them successful in the long-term. KBL has been actively involved in corporate social practices and has won a string of awards for its CSR initiatives across various platforms. Some of the unique initiatives undertaken are in the areas of Health, Education, Energy, Environment and making people self-reliant. With a heritage of over 100 years, the Kirloskar plant was set-up with a vision of establishing the industry and communities for employees.
