Nivedita Basu marked the beginning of a meaningful new chapter with the inaugural Self-Made Woman Achievers Awards – Delhi & North Chapter 2026, held on 24 September 2026. Built around the vision of bringing women’s achievements to the forefront, the initiative created a platform dedicated to recognising women who have dared to dream, built their own paths and emerged as leaders in their respective fields.

More than an evening of awards and recognition, the event represented the beginning of a larger movement to give women and their journeys the stage they deserve. From entrepreneurs and professionals to achievers across diverse fields, the evening celebrated determination, resilience and the spirit of self-made success.

Among the women recognised at the inaugural edition were Shanaya Arora, honoured for Excellence in Storytelling, Media & Women’s Empowerment; Monika Bhadouria, recognised for Excellence in Fashion Show Direction & Pageant Coaching; CA Tripti Shinghal Somani, honoured for Excellence in Women’s Ecosystem Building & Impact; Swaati J., recognised for Excellence in Building & Empowering Motherhood Communities; and Yashika Shaikh, honoured for Excellence in Social Impact & Community Empowerment. Each recognition reflected a distinct journey and contribution towards creating meaningful change and empowering communities.

The event brought together a remarkable gathering of inspiring women and personalities, creating an atmosphere filled with powerful stories, meaningful conversations and moments of celebration. For Nivedita Basu, the evening was not simply about honouring achievements but about creating a platform that can continue to spotlight women whose journeys deserve to be heard and celebrated.

The first glimpse of the evening captures the essence of what the initiative stands for — a powerful purpose, remarkable women and the beginning of something bigger. With the awardees, their inspiring journeys and memorable moments set to take centre stage in the posts ahead, the inaugural edition has opened the doors to a platform envisioned to grow further.

The Self-Made Woman Achievers Awards – Delhi & North Chapter 2026 was presented in association with Van Vivaha, India Luxury Foundation and A Dot GNH, marking the beginning of what promises to be a significant platform celebrating women who dare, build and lead.
