MUMBAI (India CSR): Oxford International, a global education platform delivering academic partnerships and education services with a growing portfolio of owned establishments across the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, the USA, and beyond borders digitally, is committed to making a positive contribution to the communities in which it operates. While its core work focuses on supporting students in their domestic and international education journeys, the organisation’s commitment extends beyond its business activities through its ongoing social impact initiatives. Through its global CSR programme ‘Momentum’, built around the principle of Local Action, Global Impact, Oxford International encourages its teams to come together, support community partners and contribute their time and effort to make a meaningful difference at the local level.
Over the past year, Oxford International has partnered with purpose-driven NGOs and community organisations across the India region to support children, education, community wellbeing and local development. These initiatives involved more than simply providing support; they required employees to actively participate, volunteer their time and step outside their day-to-day roles to contribute to the communities around them. From supporting children undergoing critical illness treatment and helping fulfil wishes that bring moments of joy and hope, to coming together for hands-on community activities such as beach cleaning, creating brighter learning spaces for children and collecting essential food supplies for local communities, each initiative reflects a collective commitment to giving back to the society. While such efforts can be challenging, particularly when engaging with children and families navigating serious illness or undertaking physically demanding community activities, they provide employees with an opportunity to contribute in a tangible and meaningful way.
Oxford International partnered with ConnectFor in October 2025 for an Artshala initiative, where four members of the team came together to transform a school into a brighter and more welcoming space for children. The team painted classrooms, including a kindergarten classroom, bringing colour and creativity into the learning environment and creating a brighter and happier space for the children. The activity provided employees with an opportunity to contribute directly to the local community while supporting a positive learning environment.
In December 2025, Oxford International undertook an internally curated Christmas giving drive in partnership with Snehasadan in Mumbai. A total of 216 team members came together to collect and collate 537 kg of non-perishable food supplies, including cereals, pulses and tea, for local NGOs. The initiative was important in turning collective employee generosity into meaningful support for underprivileged communities, helping provide essential food supplies to those in need during the festive season.
As part of its engagement with ConnectFor in Mumbai, Oxford International participated in a beach cleaning drive in June 2026. Nearly 50 volunteers took part in the initiative, with the Oxford International team recognised by ConnectFor with the Best Team Performance Award for their contribution and collective effort towards environmental sustainability.
From Jan to July 2026, Oxford International collaborated with Make-A-Wish India and supported 100 critically ill children receiving treatment through 17 hospitals and care partners, with children reaching from 10 states across India. Forty-two wishes were delivered through Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, with additional wishes reaching children through hospitals and care organisations across Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata and other locations. Of the 100 children supported, 72 were undergoing cancer treatment. Many of the wishes focused on helping children stay connected with their families and continue their education during treatment, including laptops, phones and tablets. Other wishes helped children pursue personal aspirations, including meeting a chess grandmaster and experiencing the role of a doctor. The initiative focused on creating moments of joy, hope and encouragement for children undergoing critical illness treatment. The initiative was important as it aimed to bring moments of joy, hope and emotional support to critically ill children, while helping them remain connected with their families and education during a challenging period.
