The programme will benefit over 2,900 students and 100 teachers across 15 schools in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Meghalaya over the coming months
LUCKNOW (India CSR): IndusInd Bank on July 8, 2026, inaugurated its Smart Classroom Programme in Lucknow under its CSR initiative, IndusInd School Support. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms. Bhavana Singh, Principal Director, Defence Estates (PDDE), Central Command, Lucknow, and Mr. Ganesh Sankaran, Executive Director (Designate), IndusInd Bank, held at Madhyamik Vidyalaya, R.A. Bazar, Lucknow. The initiative supports the Lucknow Cantonment Board’s vision of transforming its schools into model institutions, inspired by the Government of India’s Model School initiative and aligned with NEP 2020.
Implemented by NGO partner Learning Links Foundation, the first phase of the programme covers six Cantonment Board schools in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Over the coming months, the programme will be rolled out across Asha Schools and government-aided schools in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Meghalaya and Tamil Nadu benefiting over 2,900 students from Grades I to XII and supporting more than 100 teachers through digital classroom infrastructure, curriculum-aligned learning resources and structured teacher training.

Designed to strengthen the quality of classroom teaching and learning, the Smart Classroom Programme integrates interactive classroom technology, curriculum-aligned digital content and structured teacher training to make learning more engaging and concept-driven. By equipping schools with digital learning infrastructure and supporting educators through capacity-building initiatives, the programme seeks to create inclusive and technology-enabled learning environments that enhance classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
