The company enters the state with a three-brand portfolio strategy aimed at addressing multiple consumer segments and building long-term market presence

RAIPUR (India CSR): Alcostar Group of Companies, one of India’s fastest-growing alco-beverage companies, has formally entered the Chhattisgarh market with the simultaneous launch of three brands: Sherry Platinum Whisky, KIEV Vodka, and Royal General Gold. The expansion reflects the company’s broader strategy of strengthening its footprint across high-potential regional markets in India through a diversified, consumer-focused portfolio.

Chhattisgarh has emerged as a significant opportunity within India’s alco-beverage sector. Sustained urbanisation, rising disposable incomes, a growing hospitality and retail ecosystem, and an increasingly brand-aware consumer base have together made the state a priority market for companies looking to build meaningful regional presence. Alcostar’s entry is backed by a structured, long-term plan focused not just on initial distribution, but on building consistent retail visibility, strong trade partnerships, and sustained consumer engagement across the state.

Speaking on the expansion, Arundeep Singla, Chairman & Managing Director, Alcostar Group of Companies, said: “Chhattisgarh is an important growth market for us, and this launch reflects our continued focus on expanding into high-potential regions across India. With Sherry Platinum Whisky, KIEV Vodka, and Royal General Gold, our objective is to offer consumers quality-driven brands that align with evolving lifestyle preferences and premium aspirations. As a company, we remain committed to building a stronger market presence, expanding our portfolio footprint, and creating brands that establish long-term consumer connect.”

Each brand within the portfolio has been positioned to address a distinct consumer need and market segment:

Sherry Platinum Whisky has been introduced as a premium whisky offering, crafted to deliver a smooth, balanced, and refined drinking experience. It is aimed at consumers who seek consistent quality and a well-rounded spirit profile.

KIEV Vodka is positioned for the modern, urban consumer. With a clean and versatile character, it is designed to complement contemporary drinking occasions and a lifestyle-oriented approach to consumption.

Royal General Gold strengthens Alcostar’s presence in the accessible premium whisky segment, offering a combination of reliable quality and broad consumer appeal making it relevant across a wide range of retail and trade channels.

The company has received an encouraging initial response from regional trade partners and distributors, and is actively working to establish structured channel partnerships and targeted brand-building programmes across key urban and semi-urban markets in Chhattisgarh. Retail expansion and distribution depth will remain central priorities as the company works to build a credible, lasting presence across the state.

This regional launch also forms part of Alcostar Group’s wider national growth roadmap, which continues to focus on strategic market expansion, portfolio development, and long-term brand building. The company is actively evaluating further geographic opportunities and consumer-led product innovations as it strengthens its presence across India.

Alcostar Group of Companies

Alcostar Group of Companies is a premier and fast-growing player in the Indian alcoholic beverage sector. Driven by a commitment to strategic portfolio innovation, top-tier quality standards, and deep market insights, the company builds brands that resonate with the evolving lifestyle aspirations of modern consumers. With an expanding national footprint, Alcostar continues to invest in sustainable distribution models, premium brand experiences, and future-forward liquid development to cultivate enduring corporate and consumer equity across India.
