NEW DELHI (India CSR): Aahwahan Foundation is pleased to announce that on 21 November 2025, the renowned trio from The Family Man Season 3 Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharib Hashmi appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati (Season 17). The team won Rs 12,50,000, which they have generously donated to Aahwahan Foundation for its social welfare and community upliftment initiatives.
Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee added, “We won this amount on KBC, and we will donate it to Aahwahan Foundation, Introducing about the organisation to legendary man of Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan about Aahwahan Foundation and its work active across India with programs in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and rural development. Its volunteers were at the forefront of the Bihar floods, ensured that essential aid reaches even the remotest villages and to uplift underprivileged communities across sectors like education, health, and environmental protection.”
Braja Kishore Pradhan, CEO & Founder of Aahwahan Foundation, expressed his deep gratitude: “Seeing underprivileged children and families struggle broke my heart. I made a promise to myself: I would do everything in my power to build a bridge of hope for them. This generous contribution will help scale Aahwahan’s ongoing programs and support expansions into regions confronting the harshest socio-economic challenges. The funds shall go toward reinforcing interventions in education, healthcare accessibility, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods in underprivileged communities.”
Aahwahan Foundation aspires to bring about holistic development in the lives of rural and underprivileged populations across the breadth and width of India. Its key programs are Education on Wheels to deliver digital learning to remote villages, Health on Wheels to attend to essential medical services in areas of need, large-scale environmental conservation, and community development through integrated farming, women’s empowerment, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.
It also rejuvenates water bodies and develops their surroundings into community-friendly places with walking tracks, seating areas, and accessible learning centers.
