NEW DELHI (India CSR): In an era where corporates are increasingly evaluated on their societal contribution rather than purely financial metrics, Trejhara Solutions Limited has once again demonstrated that responsible business practices are integral to its growth journey. For the financial year ended March 31, 2025 (FY 2024–25), the Company recorded a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) expenditure of Rs 20 Lakhs, surpassing its mandated spending and reinforcing its commitment to inclusive development. Through targeted investments in education, health, women’s empowerment, and societal welfare, Trejhara has continued to foster meaningful community impact.

Fulfilling and Surpassing CSR Obligations

Under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, companies meeting specified financial thresholds must earmark at least two percent of their average net profit from the preceding three years toward CSR activities. Trejhara Solutions meticulously computed this requirement based on its average net profit of Rs 987.65 Lakhs, arriving at a statutory CSR obligation of Rs 19.75 Lakhs for FY 2024–25.

Rather than adhering to the minimum threshold, the Company chose to spend Rs 20 Lakhs, exceeding the mandated amount by Rs 0.25 Lakhs. This surplus reflects a deliberate choice—not just to comply with the law but to go beyond it, reinforcing Trejhara’s belief that corporate responsibility must be proactive rather than performative. The excess amount may be set off against future CSR obligations in accordance with prevailing regulatory provisions.

Importantly, the Company confirmed that the entire CSR expenditure was directed exclusively toward operational initiatives, with no funds allocated for capital asset creation—ensuring the money was deployed directly for public benefit.

Focused Community Interventions Through Strategic Partnerships

Trejhara Solutions operates its CSR work under a well-defined CSR Policy aimed at enabling sustainable economic development. Guided by transparency, accountability, and measurable impact, the Company aligns its CSR investments with the core areas outlined in Schedule VII of the Companies Act.

For FY 2024–25, Trejhara’s entire CSR corpus of Rs 20 Lakhs was channeled through a single implementing partner:
Rotary Club of Powai Charitable Trust, Mumbai (CSR Registration No. CSR00006930).

This collaboration enabled the efficient execution of high-impact, community-centric programs across four focus areas:

1. Education Support

Funding was allocated to strengthen access to learning resources, support underprivileged students, and enable community-based education programmes. These initiatives aim to reduce learning gaps and promote long-term academic growth.

2. Women Empowerment

The Company supported gender-inclusive development programmes, including vocational training and self-reliance initiatives specifically designed for women from marginalized communities.

3. Welfare of Society

A portion of the CSR funds was directed toward general welfare initiatives benefiting socially and economically vulnerable groups through various service-oriented activities.

4. Health and Hygiene

Rotary Club of Powai deployed CSR funding for health drives, awareness campaigns, and activities focused on improving community hygiene, nutrition, and access to basic healthcare services.

This singular, strategic partnership ensured operational efficiency while enabling localized, community-first execution.

Robust CSR Governance and Transparency

Trejhara Solutions’ CSR activities are overseen by a dedicated Board-level CSR Committee, responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and recommending activities as well as budgets. The Committee ensures that CSR spending aligns with the Company’s policies, legal obligations, and broader philosophy of ethical stewardship.

CSR Committee Composition (as on March 31, 2025):

  • Chetana Dasare – Chairperson & Independent Director
  • Amit Sheth – Member, Chairman & Whole-Time Director
  • Paresh Zaveri – Member & Non-Executive Director

The Committee convened once during the financial year, and all members were present, reflecting active oversight and commitment to transparency. The Annual CSR Report was duly reviewed and approved by the Committee, with final sign-off by Ms. Chetana Dasare and Mr. Amit Sheth.

Such strong governance underscores Trejhara’s emphasis on accountability in every step of its CSR execution.

CSR Amidst a Transformative Corporate Year

FY 2024–25 was a pivotal year for Trejhara Solutions as it advanced its strategic transformation journey. The amalgamation of LP Logistics marked a shift toward establishing Trejhara as a comprehensive, technology-driven logistics solutions provider. Alongside acquisitions and sectoral expansion initiatives, the Company’s leadership undertook significant financial prudence measures—including deferring dividend distribution to preserve resources for growth.

Despite these large-scale organizational developments, Trejhara did not allow its CSR commitment to diminish. In fact, the Company’s ability to meet and exceed its CSR target during such a transformative period highlights its deeply rooted belief that economic progress must go hand in hand with social progress.

Its CSR spending reflects both continuity and conviction—the understanding that responsible corporate behavior strengthens not just the communities it serves but also the Company’s long-term value creation pathway.

Commitment to Transparency and Future Responsibility

Trejhara Solutions continues to maintain full transparency in communicating CSR policies, spending, committee composition, and project details. All disclosures are available on the Company’s website, ensuring that stakeholders—shareholders, regulators, and citizens—can easily access information about the Company’s social impact.

Looking ahead, the modest surplus of Rs 0.25 Lakhs spent beyond FY 2024–25 obligations will support CSR work in future years, ensuring sustained impact.

By crossing its statutory CSR requirement and focusing on high-need areas, Trejhara Solutions has reaffirmed a powerful message: corporate growth and community wellbeing must progress together. As the Company expands its footprint within the logistics technology ecosystem, its parallel investment in nation-building ensures that the benefits of enterprise extend far beyond financial performance.

Through its ethical governance, strategic CSR partnerships, and unwavering commitment to social good, Trejhara Solutions continues to set a benchmark for responsible and purpose-driven corporate citizenship in India.
