SINGAPORE (India CSR): Excitement is building as Singapore prepares to host the 17th United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS) Summit 2025 on October 8, 2025, a flagship event that will rally businesses to take bold, collective action for a just, inclusive, and resilient future.
This year’s summit carries special significance as it marks 20 years of impact for UNGCNS. Themed “Forward Faster: Collective Action and Leadership for a Sustainable Future,” the gathering will bring together over 400 leaders and changemakers from across the Asia-Pacific region to spark ideas, forge partnerships, and accelerate business-led solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Keynote Address by Guest of Honour
The programme will be headlined by a keynote address from Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, who will serve as Guest of Honour. She will share insights on Singapore’s vision for sustainability and how businesses can strengthen their leadership role in advancing the global sustainability agenda.

Spotlight on Biodiversity and Nature-related Risks
A featured breakout session titled “Demystifying Biodiversity” will explore how biodiversity is fast becoming the next frontier in corporate sustainability. Experts will unpack nature-related risks and opportunities, highlighting how frameworks such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) can help businesses transform complex environmental concepts into clear strategies and measurable action.

Networking and Solutions Showcase
The Sustainability Solutions Showcase x Impact Exchange will provide a unique platform for participants to network with sustainability leaders, discover cutting-edge innovations, and exchange ideas on driving corporate sustainability in Singapore. The showcase will spotlight transformative solutions and serve as a launchpad for new collaborations.
Eminent Global Voices
The summit will feature an extensive line-up of distinguished speakers, including Benjamin Soh (Founder & MD, ESGpedia), Eric Lim (Chief Sustainability Officer, UOB), Esther An (Chief Sustainability Officer, City Developments Limited), Kelvin Wong (DBS Bank), Prof. Mark Goh (NUS Business School), Yoon Young Kim (Schneider Electric), and several others representing finance, climate innovation, technology, academia, and policy.
