UDAIPUR (India CSR): Hindustan Zinc, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, proudly unveiled the medal and announced the much-awaited details of the 2nd edition of the 2nd edition of the Vedanta Hindustan Zinc City Half Marathon, set to be held on 21st September 2025 in Udaipur. With registrations pouring in from 27 states across India, this year’s marathon is set to be bigger and more impactful, with over 7,000 runners expected to participate, surpassing last year’s record turnout. The details of the marathon were unveiled at a press conference held in Udaipur earlier today, marking the formal launch of the event.
Recognized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), the half marathon offers one of the most picturesque routes in India, covering the scenic Fateh Sagar Lake and the Aravali Hills. With prizes worth Rs 3,00,000 across four categories – 21 km (Half Marathon) 10 km (Cool Run), 5 km (Dream Run) and Race with Champions (Feature Race), the event will bring together professional athletes, senior citizens, differently-abled participants, and children, making it a celebration of inclusivity and community spirit.
