HIMACHAL PRADESH (India CSR): In response to the flash floods that have impacted the communities in Karsog, Dharampur, Pandoh, and Thunag in Mandi district, Nestlé India is stepping forward to provide assistance to those affected. It has pledged to donate 5,000 essential grocery kits to the Government of Himachal Pradesh; a gesture aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by families during this challenging time.
Grocery Kits Distribution
The grocery kits, which were officially handed over to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri, include staple items such as wheat flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, salt, pulses, spices, and other essential food products. Each grocery kit has been created to sustain a family of four for over 15 days.
Corporate Commitment Statement
Kunwar Himmat Singh, Director of Corporate Affairs at Nestlé India, expressed the company’s commitment to support the affected communities. “We sincerely hope that our contribution will help provide much-needed food supplies to the people of Mandi.
