JHARKHAND (India CSR): A significant meeting on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was held today at the District Collectorate’s conference hall in Jharkhand under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kirtishri. The meeting was attended by representatives from various companies, industrial units, and organizations engaged in CSR activities across the district in Jharkhand.

Review of CSR Initiatives
The meeting reviewed the CSR initiatives undertaken by companies in Jharkhand, including efforts in education, healthcare, skill development, sanitation, environmental conservation, and livelihood enhancement. The Deputy Commissioner directed all companies to utilize their CSR funds effectively, prioritizing public welfare schemes that benefit the people of Jharkhand.

Focus on Community Impact
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the impact of CSR activities should be clearly reflected in improving the living standards of the local community in Jharkhand. To achieve this, a district-level CSR plan is being prepared, identifying priority areas for focused interventions within the state.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Development Commissioner Amarendra Kumar Sinha, Sub-Divisional Officer Simaria Sunny Raj, District Public Relations Officer Shakeel Ahmad, District Sports Officer and CSR Nodal Officer Tushar Roy, representatives of various projects, and other relevant officials from Jharkhand.
