A Commitment Beyond Compliance

Aditya Vision’s latest CSR report highlights a remarkable financial commitment to its communities. For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, the company spent a total of Rs 1.87 Crore on various CSR projects. This figure stands impressively above the mandated amount of Rs 1.57 Crore, which is calculated as two percent of the company’s average net profit for the immediately preceding three financial years, amounting to Rs 78.6013 Crore. The excess spending of Rs 30 Lakh (Rs 0.30 Crore) underscores the company’s proactive and heartfelt approach to its social responsibilities, reflecting a genuine desire to create lasting positive change beyond mere compliance. The company’s engine truly runs on trust, translating its tagline into tangible community benefits.

India CSR

Nurturing the Hindi Heartland

Aditya Vision’s strategic focus for its CSR initiatives mirrors its core operational region: the Hindi Heartland, encompassing Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. This region, home to approximately 30% of India’s population, including 13 Crore people in Bihar, 4 Crore in Jharkhand, and 24 Crore in Uttar Pradesh, represents a vast area with significant potential for inclusive growth. The company’s long-standing presence, coupled with a deep understanding of local needs, allows it to provide targeted support that genuinely improves lives. By expanding steadily across these states, with 175 stores operational as of March 31, 2025, Aditya Vision ensures its social impact grows alongside its business footprint, particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 cities where aspirations are high but access to modern amenities may be limited.

Empowering Through Education and Technology Access

A significant portion of Aditya Vision’s CSR efforts in FY25 focused on promoting education and providing access to technology, recognizing its power to elevate lifestyles and support ambitions. The company partnered with several organizations to bridge the educational gap:

  • The Karunodaya Foundation in Gaya, Bihar, received donations of utilities and technology equipment, including laptops and televisions, benefiting approximately 4,000 children and furthering their educational journey.
  • The Pahela Kadam School in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, which provides free education to over 150 children with disabilities, was supported with technological equipment to enhance their learning experience.
  • Baldwin Academy in Patna, Bihar, a co-educational institution, also received technological equipment, empowering around 1,200 children with enriched learning experiences. These initiatives directly align with Aditya Vision’s mission to serve the people of this country with top-notch products and help aspirational communities achieve a brighter future through technology.

Holistic Well-being and Humanitarian Aid

Beyond education, Aditya Vision demonstrated its commitment to the holistic well-being of the region’s people through various health and humanitarian initiatives. This reflects the company’s people-first approach embedded in every aspect of its operations:

  • The Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama in Muzaffarpur, a mission serving the underprivileged, received donations of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) instruments, a complete Operating Theatre (OT) table, and a hospital bed set, enhancing critical healthcare services.
  • The Arvat Foundation, a Jharkhand-based public health NGO dedicated to cancer control, was aided in conducting a medical camp, providing life-saving care to approximately 100 people.
  • Doctors For You, a humanitarian organization focused on equitable healthcare, received financial assistance to advance its mission of “Health for All”.
  • The Rainbow Homes Program in Patna, Bihar, which cares for disadvantaged children, was supported with essential groceries, ensuring healthy meals for approximately 200 children throughout the day.
  • The company also extended its care to animal welfare, providing food, medicine, and funding surgery for rescued animals at the Bhoori Foundation in Patna.

Strategic Philanthropy and ‘Viksit Bharat’

Aditya Vision’s CSR strategy is not just about isolated acts of charity but is deeply integrated with its overall philosophy of creating value for communities and partners alike. The company is proud to play a role in shaping India’s future, guided by the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047 (Developed India 2047). A notable example is its support for the “Let’s Inspire Bihar” fourth foundation day event on March 22, 2025, which united over 10,000 changemakers in Patna to pledge to transform Bihar through education, entrepreneurship, and social unity by 2047. This long-term vision positions Aditya Vision as a pioneer and leader in the region’s development.

Transparent Governance and Future Vision

The oversight of these impactful initiatives rests with Aditya Vision’s dedicated Corporate & Social Responsibility Committee, comprising Mr. Rahul Kumar (Chairperson), Mr. Nishant Prabhakar (Member), and Mrs. Sunita Sinha (Member). This committee held two meetings during FY25, with all members actively participating, ensuring transparent and accountable execution of CSR policies. The company’s approach emphasizes continuous collaboration and shared vision to build lasting value for all its stakeholders, including customers, employees, investors, and communities.

As India’s consumer durables and electronics market is projected to nearly double to $152.59 billion by 2033 from $83.70 billion in 2024, Aditya Vision is incredibly well-positioned to not only capitalize on this growth but also to lead the next wave of inclusive retail expansion. The company aims for a sustainable growth trajectory of 20-25% revenue CAGR over the next 3-5 years, driven by its commitment to serving more customers, entering new markets, and deepening the trust it has established. By thriving on trust and unlocking opportunities, Aditya Vision continues its journey as “The People’s Visionary,” enhancing the standard of living for over 1 Crore customers and actively contributing to a brighter, more equitable future for the Hindi Heartland.
