UDAIPUR (India CSR): The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025, supported by Hindustan Zinc and the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and conceptualized by SEHER, wrapped up after three days of diverse performances, bringing Indian and international music to the Zinc city, Udaipur.

This free-for-all festival transformed Udaipur into a vibrant cultural hub, celebrating art and music on an unprecedented scale. This year, the festival revived Rajasthan’s forgotten musical traditions while also celebrating global music in an even grander edition.

The final day started at Manji Ka Ghat, with Sukriti Sen’s soulful classical raagas, followed by Luis de la Carrasca and Manuel Gomez from Spain, who filled the air with the rhythms of Flamenco.

Los Calchakis from Argentina introduced Andean folk sounds, while The Western Ghats blended indie-folk with pop, rock, and electronic music.

As night fell, Gandhi Ground came alive with high-energy performances. The Sarangi Orchestra brought the deep, resonant sounds of Rajasthan’s folk traditions. Every year, people return, calling it their annual detox, a chance to step away from routine and immerse themselves in music and culture. Their love for this festival keeps us going, and we will continue to bring artists from around the world to make each edition just as meaningful.”

Shaan shared his experience, saying, “Performing at the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival was truly special. There’s something magical about singing under the open sky, with people coming together purely for the love of music. This event brings such a beautiful mix of sounds and cultures, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!”

Carnatic and Persian classical performances added depth, alongside fusion acts like Karsh Kale & Peter Tegner (India-Sweden) and Romano Drom from Hungary. Euphoria’s rock anthems and Kutle Khan’s Rajasthani folk music kept the energy high. Udaipur danced to the tunes of Bollywood singers and musicians like Shaan&Kanika Kapoor.

With artists from across the globe, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival reaffirmed Udaipur’s place as a vibrant hub for world music.
