PepsiCo India, a global consumer packaged goods company, has launched India’s first 100% rPET (recycled plastic) bottles in the Carbonated Beverage category with Pepsi Black. This initiative is part of PepsiCo India’s mission to create a circular, inclusive economy and prevent packaging waste.
George Kovoor, Senior Vice President of Beverages and Sustainability at PepsiCo India, expressed pride in launching the 100% rPET bottles. This marks an important milestone in their sustainability journey and reflects their commitment to building a positive value chain and using recycled content in packaging.
