Shaping the CSR Landscape in India

India CSR was started with the primary goal of moulding the corporate mindset in India towards a more sustainable and socially conscious business approach. The platform was designed to bring the concept of CSR to the forefront of the corporate agenda in India, by creating a space for sharing CSR news, views, and research findings.

Driving Informed Discussions

Through India CSR, Rusen Kumar sought to foster informed discussions about CSR among businesses, government agencies, and the general public. The portal serves as a hub that encourages dialogue and exchange of ideas related to sustainable business practices, ethical corporate behavior, and the role of businesses in societal development.

Rusen Kumar’s vision for India CSR is to influence positive change in the corporate culture in India. By providing a platform for learning and sharing about CSR, he aimed to inspire corporations to incorporate sustainability and social responsibility into their business strategies. This, in turn, would lead to a more equitable society and a healthier environment.

Driving CSR Awareness and Action

Kumar’s vision behind India CSR is to raise awareness and inspire action regarding CSR among Indian businesses. His aim was to highlight the significance of CSR, not just as a statutory obligation, but as an integral part of a corporation’s ethos and operational framework. By amplifying the concept of CSR, he aimed to encourage corporations to actively participate in addressing social, environmental, and economic issues.

Promoting Sustainable Business Practices

Through India CSR, Kumar intended to promote sustainable and responsible business practices. The platform provides corporations with an avenue to share their CSR initiatives, learn from each other, and develop more impactful and efficient CSR strategies. In doing so, he sought to motivate businesses to make a tangible difference in society, whilst also contributing to their bottom line.

Facilitating Dialogue and Collaboration

One of the key purposes of India CSR is also to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among various stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and the general public. By fostering such connections, Kumar aimed to create a more collaborative and effective approach towards addressing societal and environmental challenges.
