PUNE: FUEL Future Skills Institute (FFSI) has partnered with Capgemini to train and skill over 2000 youth as part of Capgemini’s “Digital Academy” program, under the CSR initiative. Every day new initiatives are being initiated in the skill development sector in India and this initiative is a joint effort towards the goal.

The FUEL Future Skills Institute (FFSI) is a premier institute to impart advanced skills and create new age employable youth in the country at par with global excellence. FUEL Future Skills Institute will cater to futuristic domains to equip needy youth with futuristic and management skills addressing National Education Policy and Industry 4.0 needs. The institute will be aiming to forge underprivileged students, parents, and the wider lower strata community. The institute’s infrastructure will be modern, high-tech & fully equipped.

FUEL Future Skills Institute (FFSI) Founder and CEO Ketan Deshpande said, “Future Skill development is the need of the hour, with present skills training capacity in the country estimated at four million as against close to 12 million people who join the workforce each year. As a result, approximately 80% of the total workforce in the country don’t receive training, and only 10% of are job-ready and employable without any training, according to a recent research report.” He added, “We are intensely investing in the training of youth by creating infrastructure and mechanisms for making them future-ready under CSR of leading corporates. We are thankful to Capgemini for supporting FUEL Future Skills Institute (FFSI) and supporting the youth coming from marginalized communities and appealing to corporate India to partner with us.”

On this occasion, Anurag Kumar, Vice President, Digital Inclusion & Sustainability Leader, Capgemini said, “It gives us immense pleasure to collaborate with FUEL in our digital academic skill program as part of Capgemini’s digital mission. In the age of technological innovation, we believe that the youth are instrumental in propelling growth and facilitating progress. Through this initiative, we are marching towards setting up a university of learning in the coming years. In our partnership with FUEL, we will be helping more than 2000 youths to break the cycle of poverty and become economically empowered.”

“The program seeks to impart digital future skills, thus helping youth get employment in the ecosystem including Capgemini. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish the FUEL team all the very best in their endeavour towards their mission to impart 10 million youth by 2030”, he further added.
