India CSR®MUMBAI:  Click Rights, an initiative by CRY – Child Rights and You invites you to register your signature towards ensuring better infrastructure for our government schools.

The Click rights campaign has garnered 4,000 signatures so far and 35 photographers have joined in with their photographs, the scale of photographer contribution is still on a rise with the online petition thought – provoking its way through people all over the country. The Click Rights Campaign is advocating change for every child’s right to quality education through photography by raising awareness about the lack of infrastructural amenities in government/municipal schools today.

Click Rights invited citizens to click photographs of schools lacking basic infrastructure guaranteed to all children in India by the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009.  Participants had to just upload their pictures on the Click Rights Facebook page mentioning their email id and location of the school.

An exhibition was held across five major cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, showcasing pictures clicked by CRY volunteers depicting the dilapidated condition of these schools. A petition was signed by all the attendees present at the exhibition across India.

Click Rights is expecting 25,000 signatures by the end of this March. This petition would be then presented to the Prime Minister of India requesting to mark a change in the infrastructure of government/municipal schools.

Help us achieve the target and bring a change today:  http://www.cry.org/microsite/clickrights/petition.aspx
