KORBA (Chhattisgarh): “The establishment of Vedanta Skills School is an unique step towards making youth self-dependent. To help a needy person to stand on his feet is a great gift towards mankind.” these feelings were expressed by Abhijit Pati, Chief Executive Officer, Aluminium Sector, Vedanta Group on his visit to Vedanta I.L.& F.S. Skills School during his one day visit to Balco.
He was accompanied by Rajiv Nayan, Head- Human Resources, Vedanta Aluminium and Power Sector, Niranjan Gupta, Chief Financial Officer, Vedanta Aluminium and Power Sector and Avinash Chand Rai, Chief Operating Officer, Balco.
Abhijeet Pati expressed his happiness on his visit to the Vedanta Skills School. He talked with the students of Vedanta Skills School and enquired about the facilities they were receiving.
He appreciated the management of the Skills School and said that it was an important project towards empowering the youth to become self-dependent. He also mentioned that effort would be made to find out opportunities to start similar schools wherever possible in units under the Vedanta Group umbrella.
