Vedanta bagged prestigious national CSR awards - Photo 2 JHARSUGUDA: Vedanta Jharsuguda unit ( now Sesa-sterlite limited) has been bestowed with two national awards in the field of ‘Women Empowerment’ & ‘Community Development Initiatives’ in “Think Media INC. Best CSR practices award 2013 held at Raipur on 8 October, 2013.

On behalf of the organisation, Pritam Motilal, Madhusmita Bishi along with Nibedita Mohapatra received the awards from renowned Tax Expert Mr. Subhash Lakhotia, founder of INDIACSR Mr. Rusen Kumar & founder and edition Think Media Mr. Vijay Batra.

More than 60 companies from several sectors across India like automobiles, refineries, power, steel, aluminium, cement and infrastructure sent their nominations for this prestigious award.

Acknowledging its CSR team, Abhijit Pati, COO-Metal said that this award has reaffirmed that our CSR projects are in right directions and is in the best interest of people around us. The credit goes to our extended families residing in villages around us for their effort and participation in our CSR projects with their hearts in.
