MUMBAI: Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi has always been committed to being leaders in contributing to the social and economic development of the communities in which they operate thereby building a better way of life for everyone as well as being a part of various sustainability and environment conservation initiatives.

Keeping in line with its continuous efforts to make the world a better place, Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi has launched a special donation drive to help an NGO named Girija Balmandir, a Navi Mumbai based charitable trust established with a vision to uplift poor, orphaned, homeless and less privileged children and ensure they become self-reliant and hopeful individuals of society. All the associates of the hotel have wholeheartedly supported this cause by donating generous amounts of clothes, blankets, books, stationery and non-perishable food items over a course of a few days.

Subhabrata Roy, General Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi says “We believe very diligently in the ‘Power of Giving’ and hence, it is our constant endeavor to support causes which work towards alleviating our fellow human beings. Children are our future and we at Four Points by Sheraton, Navi Mumbai, Vashi believe that they should be looked after, no matter what their circumstances are.”

Vinaayak Kamble, HR Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi shares his views on this initiative, “We at Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai believe diligently in the ‘Power of Giving’. As Mother Theresa said, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into the giving.”  We have decided to associate with an NGO by the name “Girija Balmandir” that works for orphans and their betterment. The need for clothes, stationary and other non-perishable items are of the utmost importance right now and we have gotten all our employees together to donate what they can and make this effort a success.”

In the middle of the water scarcity crisis that has been looming over India, the hotel in the past has actively taken various steps to conserve water through using smaller portions of packaged water, presoaking utensils to save usage of running water, rainwater harvesting as well as staff training to ensure awareness and the best implementation of processes.
