TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications for 6244 group 4 vacancies in various state government departments. The last date to apply is February 28, 2024. The candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online through the official website, tnpsc.gov.in.
Eligibility criteria
The candidates who wish to apply for the TNPSC Group 4 exam must have passed the SSLC or equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% marks. The candidates must also have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 30 years as on July 1, 2024. However, there are certain relaxations in the upper age limit for the reserved categories as per the government rules.
Selection process
The selection process for the TNPSC Group 4 exam consists of two stages: a written examination and a document verification. The written examination will be held on June 9, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The written examination will have 200 objective type questions for a total of 300 marks. The questions will be based on general studies, aptitude and mental ability, and general Tamil or general English. The candidates have to score at least 90 marks out of 300 to qualify for the next stage.
The candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for the document verification. The candidates have to produce the original certificates and documents along with the online application printout. The candidates who clear the document verification will be allotted to the posts based on their rank, preference, and availability of vacancies.

- Register yourself on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform by providing the required details and paying the registration fee of Rs 150.
- Login with your user ID and password and click on the apply online link for the TNPSC Group 4 exam.
- Fill up the online application form with the personal, educational, and other details.
- Choose the post options for the forest guard, forest watcher, and other posts as per your eligibility and interest.
- Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other documents as per the specifications.
- Pay the examination fee of Rs 100 through online mode or offline mode (post office or bank challan).
- Submit the online application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
