JAMSHEDPUR: Tata Steel organised an Inter Centre Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Bench Press and Body Building Championship 2012 at Tuiladungri Community Centre on March 26-27, 2012.
About 119 participants from five community centres, namely, Sonari, Bhalubasa, Baridih, Namda and Tuiladungri, participated in the Championship. The results of the championship are as follows-
Overall Team Championship:
Winner : Bhalubasa Community Centre with 63 points
Runner : Sonari Community Centre with 60 points

Strong Man of Urban Services 2012 : Mr Bipin Kr Das (Bhalubasa Centre)
Best Bench Press of Urban Services 2012 : Mr Bipin Kr Das (Bhalubasa Centre)
Best Lifter of Urban Services -2012 : Mr B Dali Naidu (Sonari Centre)
Mr. Urban Services – 2012: Mr Prashant Kr Singh (Baridih Centre)
Mr Philbeus Barla, DTO, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand graced this occasion as the Chief Guest and handed over the prizes to the winners.
